mmmm......yummy.......

Assalamualaikum and hai all.....

I'm not gonna explain why i didnt update earlier.......tiap kali update pun nak explain......i'm finally accepting the fact that I am not as rajin as before to update hehehehe

anyway......weekend kami agak busy walaupun lepak kat umah je....due to BERSIH, we didnt dare keluar ke mana2.......

sabtu, pagi tu mama mulakan operasi mengemas bilik bibik.......toys lama2 mama buang, susun semula 'perabot' dlm bilik bibik tu and beli lemari baju baru untuk Yayah and Yan......beli yg murah2 kat carrefour jek.......baba pasang sendiri berpeluh2 2-3 jam hehehehe in between tu, kul 10.20 mama pi skolah yayah, ada parents teachers meeting.......alhamdulillah, kak Yayah has improved a lot academically.......mama takdelah nak push sgt kak Yayah, dia baru 4 years old.....niat asal nak dia belajar berkawan jek.....tp i am very proud when the teachers semua puji kak Yayah pandai kaler :-) Alhamdulillah.......and of course, one thing yg all teachers kat skolah tu point out, she's matured than her friends......dia cakap things yg her friends tak tau.....guess that is the result of her hanging out with mama tok and baba tok as well as cousins yg lebih tua dr dia.....plus, i always try to treat her like adults.....semoga ALLAH lindungi Yayah and let her continue to shine....after all....she is my miracle baby.....and will always be......insyaALLAH

then ahad, baba nak pi jogging kat uia so bawak lah budak2 ni sekali.....kesian plak dok terperuk jek kat umah.......amazingly, yayah ran satu round stadium tu and ride on her bike pun satu round stadium tu......bukannya dekat tu......Yan plak ran/walked satu round stadium tu.......lepas tu while waiting for baba, yayah bawak adik Yan naik beskal hehehehe

happy naik beskal dua beradik nih.......

balik dr uia, singgah satu kedai baru yg diperkenalkan oleh kak Baya......niat asal nak beli bungkus tp bila tgk restauran tu cantik, terus call mama tok tanya nak tak pi keluar makan mlm tu....amazingly walaupun mama tok kata tak mau, baba tok kata mau hehehehe so we all pun balik semula and janji ngan org tu nak mai lepas maghrib.......

selepas di-bribe dengan stok toys yg mama sorok dlm lemari (aunty Mimi-yours ada lagi ke?) budak2 setuju untuk kena tinggal dirumah so dlm kul 8 gitu, mama, baba, mama tok and baba tok pun berdesup pi kedai tu kat taman Melati.......

Dah a few times we tried to look for authentic Pakistani food......tp selalunya tak up to baba tok's standard......well, baba tok kan mmg asal Pakistan.......his parents came to Malaysia a long long long time ago and he was born in Malaysia, but they very much love their food......so bila pi restauran ni, mula2 baba tok ngan mama tok was a bit sceptical....betul ke sedap nih?????

kedai was very nice and clean...even the toilets were clean (a must check everytime we visit a restaurant-dirty toilets mean dirty owner and possibly dirty cooks) and the hindi songs just made it even lebih authentic :-) belek punya belek, last2 we decided to have Naan Special (coz kak Baya kata sedap), Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, Takka Dhaal and Lamb Masala, and also a plate of lamb beriyani.........

Baba tok had his first bite and said.......hmmmm....mmg sedap.......that was enough to make us all happy.......and the rest is history....... :-)

at one point, baba tok actually said the dhaal is something like my Dadi (his mom) used to make.....and that is really something that made me happy.......when Mama tok asked him, "esok nak datang lagi ke?" and he answered "kalau ada orang nak bawak boleh je".......we knew we would definitely be visiting again........

all in all....it was a very satisfying meal.....thanks to Kak Baya for informing us about the place.....we went home mmg kenyang gile......and sampai this moment of typing this entry, my hand still smells of rempah ratus......tp mmg berbaloi.......next time kena bawak Yayah and Yan pulak.....i'm sure the would enjoy the ample space to run around and the nice crusty soft cheese naan........
